HOW WE WORK

The initial consultation is to learn about you, your project, and for you to feel comfortable with your future designer.

It's important for us to understand your personal tastes, lifestyle, expectations, and inspirations. This helps to create the right design for your daily life.

We will take a detailed brief, get a feel for the space, and establish a scope of work together. We'll also talk about your budget and others involved in the project, such as your architect, builder, electrician, etc.

It’s also the perfect time for you to ask any questions about the design process and learn more about similar past projects and experience.

Following the consultation, we will provide a complete scope of the work established together along with the design fees.

This stage is one of the most important during the process as it will determine your future interior. We'll discuss, review, and update the scope as needed until you are fully happy. Once agreed, we will start to work on the concept design for your project.

This stage will include a site survey, floor plans illustrating the new setup, and concept layout. Also presented if applicable may be hand sketches, 3D mockups, new products, and mood boards with samples of possible textures, colours and finishes.

If the site doesn’t allow a survey, we'll still be able to work from an architect’s plan or any measurements provided from the site.

Once the concept design has been approved, we will start to develop the design into detailed drawings and plans.

We will also present you with the full itemised estimate based on your budget. We will then start finalising the choices of finishes, colours, dimensions, etc.

All goods within the design scheme can be purchased directly through Delphine Interiors.

Once the detailed design and estimates have been approved and signed for, we will develop the technical package for your contractors on site if applicable.

This may include an indicative lighting plan for your electrician, a decorative schedule for your decorator, ceiling details for your builder, or tile elevations for your tiler. In France and in the UK, we have worked with trusted contractors that we would be able to recommend for you.

If you have your own contractors, we will happily meet them and work with them closely to project completion.

We will be in constant contact with your contractor to make sure that the work is progressing well as per our expectations and plans.

This may include follow-up site visits when needed, and regular communication with your contractors and yourself. We will also monitor the progress of the delivery of goods on site when required. You will always be kept fully up to date with progress during this stage right through to completion.

It is important to us that we offer a turnkey service for you to feel completely relaxed during the full design process.

Now it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your new home!
